Thank you each one who has joined here to read about two special needs. We are in ministry with two orphanages. One in Kenya operated by Pastor Samuel Kalia and one in Uganda operated by Pastor Stephen Omait. We testify that these Pastors are the ‘real deal. We know them personally. We know that their are children in the areas of these two orphanages that are malnourished and some have died because of it. Here in America, this may be hard to understand. Please don’t turn your compassion away from this need.
If you would give any amount, it would go a long way there. No gift is too small. We desire to set up a monthly amount that they could keep sufficient food, clothing and shoes. Also, there is a great need for school funds and supplies. In Kenya and Uganda after grade 6, school must be paid for, it is not free. This offering would also be used as needed with medical care. You can imagine twenty plus children in poor living conditions.
Consider the words of Jesus in Matt. 25:37-40. “Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.” Jesus used this parable to show us the importance of serving others, particularly those who are marginalized or in need. He describes a scene where people are judged based on whether they showed compassion and kindness to those in need. Jesus said “the least of these” referring to those who are often overlooked, forgotten, or even despised. These are the people who are hungry, thirsty, strangers, naked, sick, or in prison.
This parable is a spiritual reality to believers! This is spiritual principles of the kingdom of God, which we are citizens of as believers. These verses are a call to action, urging believers to be intentional in serving others and showing compassion to those in need. It is a reminder that our actions towards others, especially those who are vulnerable, are a reflation of our love and obedience to God.
